We have an exciting position available in our Marketing Department for a Graphic Designer at the Saint John, IN location. The position is full-time with benefits and the hours will be Monday through Friday from 7am-5pm. Please note that we will need a portfolio in order to go further in the interview process. Job Description
Create and update store signage for indoor and outdoor use daily. Look into ways of increasing traffic and sales through the use of design. Constant use of Adobe Suite programs. Also, updating Wordpress websites and social media applications daily to keep products and pages up to date.
Required Duties
- Design indoor and outdoor sale signs with Adobe Illustrator
- Create ads to be displayed in newspapers all over NWI and Chicagoland
- Measure and design roadside billboards
- Work with print companies to order signs on different materials on a per job basis
- Quote out companies for best pricing on sign orders
- Update social media application websites weekly
- Update and design LED signs to match sales or events
- Check in with all departments to make sure signage is up to date
- Ordering and creating business cards for employees
- Working with other vendors to create in store signs for their products
- Updating web pages through Wordpress
- Work through mulitple samples of designs until final layout is approved
- Learn about new products that are being brought in throughout multiple stores

- Strong knowledge and experience using Adobe Illustrator CS4+
- Strong knowledge and experience using Adobe Photoshopt CS4+
- Strong knowledge of how to use Wordpress or other blogging platforms preferred.
- Quick to learn new programs and skillsets
- Listens closely and able to take detailed notes on design requests
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- College Education in a field of Marketing or Graphic Design (previous or current)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
