We are seeking an Online Banking/Accounting Specialist for our Schererville, IN branch.
Job
Summary:
Responsible for providing outstanding member experiences by responding to and resolving member phone & email inquiries regarding all types of online banking issues.
Responsible for daily mailing & analysis of overdraft protection transfer and Non-Sufficient Funds fee letters.
Process daily import of ODP Manager file.
Generate overdrawn balance and close account letters and complete analysis of accounts to verify qualification of Courtesy Pay.
Perform daily review of the New Accounts Report to remove new account flags and determine courtesy pay status.
Position will also be trained in all accounting/finance functions to provide backup when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ideal candidate must:
Be able to get along well with all kinds of different personalities Work well with a hands-on manager Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal Be detail orientated Be self-motivated during down time Be able to multi-task EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
A high school diploma or the equivalent At least 1 year experience working in an office environment At least 1 year customer service experience; phone experience preferred Excellent working knowledge of Excel Good working knowledge of Word These are PLUSES:
Accounting background preferred but not required Online Banking experience in a banking environment is a PLUS General knowledge of online banking/mobile apps is a PLUS General knowledge of banking transactions is a PLUS All offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a favorable background investigation which includes a credit check.
